As part of the development of innovative projects, the company Isalys Horizons is looking for a Medior Project Manager

🎯 Your missions:

In charge of project management mainly linked to safety studies and the development / modification of the design of installations, in connection with Spent Fuel Management (SFM), and more particularly:

• Steer and monitor the scope, schedule, budget, performance, HSE aspects, nuclear safety, quality and profitability of the project.
• Lead and direct the project in order to achieve an optimal solution.
• Actively collaborate with colleagues from Competence Centres and support services (procurement, finance, risk management, etc.), developing close relationships and working towards a common goal.
• Set up a project organisation adapted to the specific needs of the project.
• Define tasks, delegate them to the people involved and empower them in their execution.
• Coordinate the engineers responsible for each discipline and verify the correct integration of the different specialities within the project.
• Organise meetings with the Client and develop a partnership approach in order to bring Tractebel added value in the execution of the project.
• Ensure technical and commercial contacts with Clients and partners, as appropriate, and define commercial actions when relevant.
• Participate in steering, project and purchasing committees (internal and external) and prepare associated documents in order to convince management and stakeholders.
• Manage project purchasing activities (tender documents, competitive bidding, negotiation, contracting and invoicing) for the lots concerned, and ensure compliance with the Client's requirements and objectives.
• Report regularly to the SFM coordinator on the progress of the project and ensure consistency with the overall spent fuel management strategy.

✅ Profile sought:

• Hold a master's degree in engineering;

• Have 10 to 15 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years as a project manager or deputy project manager. A technical background in safety studies is an asset;

• Knowledge of Belgian nuclear power plants as well as the construction sector are strong assets;

• French or Dutch as a native language (mastery of both is an asset). Good command of English, both spoken and written;

• Be results-oriented and highly motivated to achieve goals, with particular attention to meeting Client expectations;

• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Be flexible, stress-resistant, rigorous and assertive, with the ability to make decisions even in complex situations. Comfortable in relationships, with conflict management skills and capable of convincing;

• Be based at the Brussels headquarters, with frequent travel to Belgian nuclear sites (Tihange and Doel) and occasionally abroad;

• A Belgian security clearance for access to nuclear sites is required.
