About the Role

We are currently looking for a Junior Civil Engineer to support industrial/infrastructure construction projects. You will act as a key interface between engineering teams, the client, and contractors on site, ensuring that works are executed in compliance with design, quality, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as an interface between the study office, the Client, and the Contractors executing the works

• Inspect contractors’ execution activities and verify compliance with execution drawings, methodologies, and technical documents

• Monitor and verify Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) requirements on site

• Manage technical interfaces between different contractors

• Follow up and coordinate design changes and technical modifications

• Participate in regular project meetings with stakeholders (progress, challenges, interfaces, HSE, etc.)

• Draft work orders and site instructions, issue execution notes and non-conformity observations

Profile Required

• Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• First relevant professional experience in an engineering consultancy or contractor environment

  • Experience in design activities and/or site erection follow-up is an asset

  • Industrial project exposure is considered a plus

• Fluent in Dutch or French, with good knowledge of English

• Strong communication skills: clear, factual, and to the point

• Good command of written language with the ability to produce clear technical notes and reports
