E-Vone : the connected shoes

27 Aug E-Vone : the connected shoes

E-vone is a part of the French company “Eram” based in Maine-et-Loire. They designed a shoe capable of automatically detect if someone is falling and give an alert.

They integrated sensors in the soles of the shoes and a GPAS, those sensors recognize “a fall” by analyzing the movement of the foot. If the shoe doesn’t move after the next second it sends an alert (SMS) and the exact address of where the person is. These new product could help elderly people who are alone and can help themselves in difficult situations.

The shoe is not commercialized yet but would be available soon.
