3D printing 100 times faster with light

21 Feb 3D printing 100 times faster with light

3D printing is a growing technology, which exists in several forms and sizes.

The most common method used is additive manufacturing but it takes a lot of time and has a lot of limits.

That’s why researchers from the University of Michigan have found a new technical way to print in 3D. They named this new method calculated axial lithography.

This method allows to print objects faster and in larger quantities by using the power of light.

This new technique could be a game changer for small manufacturing jobs as it prints everything simultaneously and gives the finish product a smoother appearance.
