Project Engineer Life Sciences – BELGIUM

Description

• Organize and manage the engineering project starting from design through construction and acceptance
• Manage and report the project scope, project budget and project planning/progress in consultation with internal stakeholders, suppliers and project organizational structures
• Define the project charter, project planning, create and guide the project team to the defined project goals
• Define and align resource & staffing needs with involved department managers
• Set up and monitor communication structures with all involved internal and external “project” stakeholders & relevant departments throughout the project duration
• Identify and mitigate project risks
• Upon completion, guarantee smooth project handover to production and maintenance

Profile

• Engineering master degree in a technical discipline
• First experience in a similar position
• Multidisciplinary knowledge in the following areas: mechanical (piping and equipment), process engineering, E&I (electrical /instrumentation), civil and automation
• Strong planning, communication and organizational skills
• Analytical and structural attitude
• Problem solving ability with a broad area of interest
• Fluent in French or in English
