In order to help developing innovative projects, the Isalys Consulting company is in search of an Senior Strategic Buyer Consultant to integrate our team

• Develop the best buying strategies for their organization with a view to maintaining consistent quality and managing costs.
• Maintain supplier relationships and do regular market research
• Make a selection of potential suppliers, set up price requests and negotiate with them
• Measure and improve supplier performance – based on the 4 pillars : cost, quality, time, risk
• Negotiate and agree contracts and monitor their progress;
• Monitor the purchase performance and report this to the team leader on a regular basis.
• Good management of the database (data regarding suppliers, piece numbers of customers, prizes …).

Profile

• Engineering degree and an experience of minimum 5 years as an Industrial Buyer
• You have a strong technical knowledge in electromechanics, electricity, electronics or IT
• You demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, as well as great commercial awareness, a flair for negotiation and networking;
• You possess the ability to make important decisions and cope with the pressure of demanding targets and tight deadlines.
• You are fluent in French, with good knowledge in English, Dutch is an asset
